There is a unique array of WW1 tanks and a carefully restored German Tiger Tank, there are also displayed in the five large halls over 150 fighting vehicles gathered together from 26 countries. The history of armoured warfare is cleverly narrated by the use of its exhibitions starting with re-creations of German and British trenches and the story is completed with one of the tanks that saw action during the “Gulf War”.
